It took me nearly 3 years to find him. I was looking for a breeder who bred for health and temperament and yes…..beauty. Lust-for-Life is the first born male of Knight and Joy of Foxhunt White Shepherds.  

Early on Lust-for-Life (affectionately Lusty) proved to be a good puppy, easy to train, sweet and breath-taking gorgeous. He is very white with very dark pigment, deep expressive dark brown eyes.  He has a solid temperament and is not afraid of anything.... he actually likes 4th of July fireworks!  He is a happy fellow with occasional pensive mood. 

Fair to say he never did like the show ring, but Lusty would do anything to please and please me he did. I don't think there's another White Shepherd out there who has a conformation ribbon from AKC, but Lusty does. The AKC judge explained that because he was white he had to be disqualified, but, it was a match show and the judge told me he was “drop dead gorgeous” and gave him a Ribbon!!!And then  won a Rosette!

Lusty went on to compete with UKC, placing himself as one of 10 top White Shepherds in USA in 2014. https://www.ukcdogs.com/conformation-top-ten# .  He was 18 months old and already had a Grand Champion title with UKC; he also obtained multiple tittles with ARBA.

In 2015 Lusty gained the designation of BBS and officially became an FCI dog. He was then able to show and participate in World Dog Show in Milan, Italy. He received a rating of “Very Good

He became a service dog and has traveled extensively.

He has traveled to Rome, visited the Colosseum, Piazza Venezia and admired by Carabinieri and the Pope's Guards.

He also has the title of Canine good Citizen awarded by AKC

He stands at 26" tall at the withers, and weighs 92 lbs. of power muscle. He has sired 18 healthy and beautiful puppies. To see Lusty and Lumi's puppies please go to Puppy page.

Lust-for-Life has been DNA tested. He carries no genes for MDR, no genes for Myelopathy, no genes for curly coat, no gene for long coat. This means none of his children will have long or curly coat or get sick with Myelopathy of have any Multi drug resistance issues.

Lust-for-Life is available for stud to approved bitches.
